Engraving stylus 60°, shank 6mm

Description
Engraving tools are conical and have one cutting edge. The deeper you plunge, the wider the engraving becomes, as the ratio of plunge depth to engraving width is determined by the point angle. The smaller this angle, the more consistent the engraving width, even if the workpiece is not lying flat. All tools with a shank diameter of 6 mm and a point angle of 36° or higher feature a counter-balance grind for improved concentricity. Universally applicable for plastics, non-ferrous metals, and wood. Point angle 60° / Engraving width 0.40 mm / Cutting edge length 40 mm / Shank diameter 6 mm
