Powerful 800-watt universal motor for 110 V – extremely robust and optimized for a wide range of applications: For use in, for example, routers, milling jigs, drill stands, and applications with flexible shafts. Especially suitable for use on gantry milling machines and CNC routers of all types, as well as special applications. Slim, weight-optimized design for optimal handling. Stainless steel motor flange with double bearings for higher milling forces – 43 mm diameter mounting, so-called "Eurobund". Easy cutter changes – quick and simple thanks to the spindle lock. Full-wave electronic speed control ensures a constant speed even during demanding milling operations. Speed ​​preselection and soft start are standard features on AMB motors. The motor is double-insulated, offering maximum protection against external influences. Electronic thermal overload protection prevents overheating. The electronics are completely potted, perfectly protected against dust and external influences for a longer service life – in contrast, other manufacturers often use unprotected electronics. Original carbon brushes made in Germany – with integrated shut-off. This prevents damage to the commutator due to worn carbon. Additional silicone pads between the carbon and the pressure spring ensure a long service life through vibration damping. The collet chuck is the same as the original Kress chuck for standard collets – compatible with almost all manufacturers. Lightweight at only 1.4 kg. Exceptionally slim design for minimal installation space and ergonomically comfortable handling when used freely, e.g., as a straight grinder.
