FAQ

Q: What type of pneumatic valve is needed? A: 3/2 way.

Q: How is the device attached to the gantry? A: Four M6 mounting threads, 10 mm deep, tightening torque 7 Nm, and four 5H7 dowel pins, 10 mm deep, as anti-rotation pins. A 43 mm clamping neck is not required.

Q: What system pressure is required? A: The system pressure should be 6 bar for a 3-4m hose with a 6mm inner diameter. As a general rule, the longer the lines from the compressor to the point of use, the larger the pressure reservoir and the pipe cross-section must be. For a 6mm diameter hose and a length of 3-4m, 6 bar is sufficient.

Q: How much air should I expect? A: The main air consumption occurs during the rinsing/cleaning of the cone. Since this process only lasts a few seconds, you can expect a consumption of approximately 2-3 liters during this short period.

Q: What is the torsional force at the tool holder? A: The torsional force of the SK20 tool holder on the milling cutter is 5 Nm.

Q: How does the spindle behave at 0V control voltage? A: At 0V the spindle is stationary; from approximately 1-9V the speed increases from the minimum to the maximum value; from 9-10V the spindle runs at maximum speed.

Q: What is the current draw at a supply voltage of 10...29V DC? A: The power supply unit must be able to deliver at least 40 mA DC.

Q: What is the input resistance of the 0-10V control input? A: It is approximately 36 kOhms.

Q: How should the ejection position be positioned in the Z-direction? A: The closer the ejection position is to the gripping position, the less risk there is of the tool holder tilting. We recommend programming the tool change 0.1–0.2 mm above the storage position.
