Powerful 1050-watt universal motor – extremely robust and optimized for all types of milling – especially suitable for use on gantry milling machines and CNC routers. DI stands for direct control via the controller. The required speed can be selected or programmed directly there. This reduces noise, increases duty cycle, and minimizes wear. The stainless steel motor flange features double bearings for higher milling forces – 43 mm diameter mounting, also known as a "Eurobund" mount. The bearings are equipped with high-quality seals for perfect protection against dust ingress. The motor, bearings, and seals are designed for extended duty cycles. Tool changes are quick and easy thanks to the spindle lock. Full-wave electronic speed control ensures consistent speed even during demanding milling operations. Speed ​​preselection and soft start are standard features on AMB motors. The motor is double-insulated, providing maximum protection against external influences. The electronics are fully encapsulated, offering perfect protection against dust and external influences – in contrast, other manufacturers often use unprotected electronics with a shorter lifespan. Electronic thermal overload protection prevents overheating. Original carbon brushes made in Germany – with integrated shut-off. This prevents damage to the commutator when the carbon brushes are worn. Additional silicone pads between the carbon brushes and the pressure spring ensure a long service life through vibration damping. Extremely versatile applications – for use in, for example, CNC portals (routers), routers, milling jigs, drill stands, etc. The collet chuck is the same as the original Kress chuck for standard collets – compatible with almost all manufacturers. Unrivaled in its lightness at only 1.7 kg. Exceptionally slim design for minimal installation space and ergonomically comfortable handling when used as a straight grinder, etc. Quick-change power cable, replaceable directly on the tool and available in lengths up to 7.5 meters. The original Kress power cable module is technically unmatched and allows for quick changes of power cord directly on the machine. There's no need to change the power supply at the source (wall socket). It couldn't be simpler. This also allows multiple devices to be supplied with just "one" cable in alternating use.
