Since the EC directives have been transposed into national law in the EU member states and the relevant standards are thus included, the devices also comply with the German Ordinance on Equipment and Product Safety Act. DGUV V3 regulates the repeat tests that are used to ensure that the safety-related delivery quality is still met after a certain period of use.
This confirmation in connection with the aforementioned points releases the operator from having to test or have tested a device that has been received undamaged in accordance with DGUV V3 before it is put into operation for the first time. The operator only has to record the first commissioning, and then carry out or have carried out a DGUV V3 inspection according to the inspection frequency specified by him.
